Assistant Events Manager

London | Prestigious International Law Firm

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Events professional to join a prestigious international law firm as an Assistant Events Manager. You will take ownership of the London events programme, delivering high-profile client, business development, internal and charitable events from concept through to execution.

This is a career-enhancing opportunity offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders, partners and a global Events team within a highly respected international firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of London-based events and hospitality programmes.
  • Plan and execute seminars, networking events, conferences, receptions and client entertainment initiatives.
  • Manage budgets, venue sourcing, supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
  • Oversee invitations, registrations, guest lists, event communications and attendee management through Cvent.
  • Act as a key advisor to partners and stakeholders on event strategy and delivery.
  • Attend events to ensure seamless execution and an exceptional client experience.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development, Marketing and wider business services teams.
  • Maintain event calendars, reporting and post-event analysis.

  • 3-5 years' events experience, ideally within legal or professional services.
  • Proven experience managing events from planning through to delivery.
  • Strong project management, organisational and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Cvent and London venues is advantageous.
  • Flexible to attend occasional evening events.
