Assistant Facilities Manager | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Westminster, London | ISS UK | DWP Account

ISS is recruiting for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting the delivery of integrated facilities management services across the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) account in Westminster, London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an FM professional looking to broaden their experience within a high-profile public sector environment, working closely with the Facilities Manager to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day delivery of integrated hard and soft FM services, ensuring high standards of service and compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with DWP stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams, providing excellent customer service and operational support.
  • Assist with Health & Safety, statutory compliance, audits, maintenance schedules, and operational reporting.
  • Support contract performance by monitoring KPIs, SLAs, supplier performance, and helping to identify service improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate day-to-day facilities operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained workplace.

We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience within Facilities Management, ideally supporting integrated hard and soft FM services.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience building positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety, compliance, and operational processes.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
