Divisional Assistant Finance Director
We are recruiting for a divisional Assistant Finance Director position on behalf of a leading Private Healthcare Group based in London.
The divisional Assistant Finance Director assume a supportive role in the financial management of the division. The Assistant Finance Director will share responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling financial-related activities under the direction of the Finance Director. This includes supporting accounting, finance, forecasting, and strategic planning functions, and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high performing Finance Team
- Business partner with, and provide key insights for the Senior Management Team (SMT), to support key business decision making
- Advise on financial risks and opportunities to support continued growth
- Optimise the utilisation of resources across the business, advising the SMT and department leads
- Support the development of financial strategies
- Consistently look to develop and improve processes and system utilisation
- Take a lead role in the preparation of annual budgets
- Ensure robust controls, compliance and governance
- Liaise with internal and external audit functions and regulatory bodies
- Support EBITDA projections and contribute to profitability goals
- Support the development of pricing strategies

About You

- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience within the Private Healthcare sector
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic vision and operational detail
- Experienced in business case preparation and supporting operational development/improvement/growth
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, able to influence at all levels.
