We're looking for a Assistant Finance Director

We're looking for a commercially minded, detail-driven Assistant Finance Director to help build the financial backbone of one of the UK's newest luxury resorts. Working directly with the Director of Finance, you'll take ownership of month-end reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls - with real exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and business strategy as the property scales.

What You'll Own

  • Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Fixed asset register, balance sheet schedules, and bank reconciliations
  • Monthly payroll processing and budget adherence monitoring
  • Cash flow, receivables, and payables management
  • Internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud
  • Coordination with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
  • Financial modelling and scenario analysis to support new projects and investment decisions

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence with accounting systems
  • High attention to detail and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment
