We're looking for a Assistant Finance Director
We're looking for a commercially minded, detail-driven Assistant Finance Director to help build the financial backbone of one of the UK's newest luxury resorts. Working directly with the Director of Finance, you'll take ownership of month-end reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls - with real exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and business strategy as the property scales.

What You'll Own
- Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Fixed asset register, balance sheet schedules, and bank reconciliations
- Monthly payroll processing and budget adherence monitoring
- Cash flow, receivables, and payables management
- Internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud
- Coordination with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Financial modelling and scenario analysis to support new projects and investment decisions
What We're Looking For
- Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role
- Strong Excel skills and confidence with accounting systems
- High attention to detail and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment

- Experience in a hotel or facilities management environment
- Exposure to supervising or mentoring junior finance staff
