Company Description
We're looking for a numbers savvy Assistant Finance Manager to join the finance team across our four London properties.
You'll report directly to our Finance Manager and support our Director of Finance – London and the London Operational team to ensure that we meet all financial obligations in your property.
Job Description
What you'll do...
- Play a crucial role in making sure our hotels run efficiently without compromising our overall goal of providing a fantastic guest experience
- Contribute to the financial day-to-day of both hotels, including managing site revenue (and any variances), the sales ledger, ensuring payments are made and received as expected
- Make sure all our financial processes run smoothly and keeping an eye on how we could keep improving ways of working
- Help prepare monthly reporting, taking on aspects of the hotel month-end process that incorporates P&Ls, Balance sheet and cashflow
- Work closely with the hotel teams, becoming a trusted commercial & financial partner
- Provide input into tax and process filing & payments to related Government Agencies, including VAT returns, P11D and PAYE
- Participate in running external audits

What we're looking for...

- 2-3 years hotel finance experience
- Ideally, a strong understanding of compliance, best practice hotel operations and standard systems (PMS systems, reservations systems etc.)
- A balance between a methodical and process-driven approach and flexibility and creativity when it comes to meeting deadlines and finding solutions
- Passion for hospitality – whether that’s a drink, a meal, an event or a bed for the night
- You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience
- You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get shit done
- You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once
- If we got stuck in a lift together we’d have a good time and share a few laughs
- You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way
