Spectrum Community Health CIC are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to be part of the Management Accounts Team.
About the Role
This role involves providing financial support for the Corporate Services within Spectrum.
We strive to provide the most accurate and in-depth financial assurances for the Finance Team as a whole and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Support: Providing high-quality management accounting work which involves the analysis of financial information and preparation of financial reports.
- Compliance: Ensuring that financial information is processed in accordance with Spectrum’s policies and procedures and ensure the work is completed in line with financial timescales.
- Income Management: Providing vital financial management support for income across commissioned contracts, corporate services and projects.
- Monitoring: Monitoring of current and forecast financial position which will feed into the committee and board reporting.
- Board Support: Assisting and supporting the Head of Finance in the execution of the Board’s statutory financial responsibilities.
- Corporate Support: Providing comprehensive financial support, advice and information to Heads of Department, delegated budget holder and all other levels of the Boards Management team.
- Value Delivery: Supporting the Head of Finance in detailed financial analysis in order to support Spectrum’s CIP workstreams focused at delivering value for money on an ongoing basis.
- Deputising: Deputising for the finance teams Finance Managers as required.
- Training: Providing training and support to the Assistant Management Accountants.
- Budget Management: Responsible for budget of junior staff within the Finance Department.
