Are you a finance professional looking for that next step? Perhaps you are an Assistant Finance Manager looking for that next challenge?

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in Warrington, supporting our customer, Iceland. As an Assistant Finance Manager, you will provide accurate and timely consolidation of weekly and monthly financial information across multiple depots, while building effective working relationships with Operations, Operational Finance Teams, and Central Finance Team.

This is a full-time, permanent on-site position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00.

  • We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Assisting the site finance manager with budget and reforecast cycles relating to key KPIs
  • Investigate discrepancies and work to resolve these in a timely manner
  • Supporting with the production of weekly reports and monthly management reporting while assisting with variance and analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods
  • Ensure compliance with internal finance procedures and deadlines

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Part-qualified AAT/ACCA/CIMA or studying towards
  • Experience within logistics, FMCG, Retail, or high-volume operational environments would be advantageous
  • Previous experience working in a contracted or client-facing model
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
