Role Description
The Assistant Football Coach will support the delivery of engaging, high-energy coaching sessions for children at the Football Fun Factory® in Enfield. This full-time, on-site role includes:

- Planning and running training activities
- Helping to set up and pack down equipment
- Ensuring sessions are safe, inclusive, and fun for all participants
- Communicating regularly with children, parents, and colleagues
- Providing positive feedback and encouragement
- Modeling the organization’s values and ethos

Day-to-day responsibilities also involve:
- Assisting with session administration
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and child welfare
- Contributing ideas to improve the coaching program and overall participant experience
Qualifications
- Strong Football Coaching and Coaching skills, with experience working with children and youth players
- Solid Football knowledge, including basic techniques, game rules, and age-appropriate training methods
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and build rapport with children and families
- Practical Training skills, including planning sessions, delivering drills, and adapting activities for different abilities
- Relevant coaching certifications (e.g., FA or equivalent), and up-to-date safeguarding and first aid training are highly beneficial
- Ability to work on-site in Enfield, demonstrate reliability and professionalism, and collaborate effectively within a coaching team
- Previous experience in youth sports coaching or teaching, and a genuine passion for football and child development are strong assets
