Are you a confident hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences? We're looking for an Assistant Front Desk Manager to play a key role in the leadership of our Front Desk team and help create memorable stays for every guest.

As Assistant Front Desk Manager, you'll work closely with the Front Desk Manager to drive service excellence at the heart of the hotel. Acting as a hands-on leader, you'll support the day-to-day operation of the Front Desk, coach and develop associates, and ensure our guests receive warm, professional and seamless service from arrival through to departure.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Front Desk Manager or a strong Front Desk or Front Office leader looking for a new challenge within a fast-paced Marriott environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support the Front Desk Manager in the daily operation of the Front Desk.
  • Lead by example, providing exceptional guest service and setting high standards for the team.
  • Act as a key point of contact for guests, handling enquiries, concerns and complaints with professionalism and care.
  • Assist in leading, motivating and developing Front Desk associates, creating a positive and engaging working environment.
  • Take responsibility for Front Desk operations in the absence of the Front Desk Manager.
  • Monitor guest feedback and support initiatives to continuously improve guest satisfaction scores.
  • Assist with staffing levels, scheduling and departmental organisation to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Reservations and other hotel departments to deliver a seamless guest journey.
  • Support revenue opportunities through effective room upselling, enrolment programmes and same-day selling initiatives.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training and performance development of associates.
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, company policies, health & safety requirements and operational procedures.
  • Contribute ideas and initiatives that enhance both the guest and associate experience.
  • Support the management of lobby operations, ensuring a welcoming, professional and efficient arrival experience for all guests.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
