Lead Exceptional Guest Experiences In a Luxury Hospitality Environment

Are you a natural people person who loves creating brilliant guest experiences?

We’re looking for an Assistant Front of House Manager to help lead our Reception and Day Porter teams and make sure every guest receives a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their stay.

Working closely with the Front Office Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the hotel operation – supporting the team, overseeing busy shifts and helping everything run smoothly from arrival through to departure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting and motivating our Reception and Day Porter teams
  • Taking Duty Manager responsibility and supporting departments across the hotel
  • Delivering consistently high standards of guest service
  • Handling guest requests and resolving any concerns with confidence and care
  • Supporting rotas, training, coaching and team development
  • Managing room allocations and helping maximise room sales and revenue
  • Ensuring guest information, payments and Front Office procedures are accurate
  • Keeping the team informed with clear handovers and daily communications
  • Spotting opportunities to improve the guest journey and the way we work
  • Leading by example and creating a positive, professional working environment

About You

  • Have previous Front Office, Reception or hospitality supervisory experience
  • Genuinely enjoy looking after guests and creating memorable experiences
  • Are confident leading, coaching and motivating a team
  • Can stay calm, organised and positive in a busy environment
  • Have great communication and problem-solving skills
  • Are commercially aware and comfortable encouraging your team to maximise sales opportunities
  • Are confident using hotel systems and following financial procedures
  • Enjoy taking ownership and getting involved across the wider hotel operation

Additional Information

  • Full-Time - 40 hours per week
  • Working on a 5 out of 7-day rota, demonstrating flexibility to meet business requirements, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required
  • Salary: £31,000 per annum
  • Estimated Start Date: 23 November 2026
