Assistant Menswear Garment Technologist
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Menswear Garment Technologist to join a close-knit technical team within an established fashion business. This role would suit a recent graduate with relevant technical training or someone at the beginning of their garment technology career who has a genuine interest in menswear and is looking to build their technical knowledge within a supportive environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Receiving and prioritising samples in line with delivery dates and deadlines
- Measuring garment samples accurately and preparing them for fit sessions
- Processing relevant workbooks and maintaining accurate technical records
- Supporting the Senior Garment Technologist with day-to-day workload and technical administration
- Maintaining organised sample storage and tracking systems
- Attending fit sessions as experience develops and taking fit notes under guidance
- Supporting the creation of fit comments following feedback
- Assisting with additional technical tasks as required by the wider team

- A recent graduate in garment technology, fashion technology or a related discipline, or someone with early career experience in a technical role
- Essential experience accurately measuring garment samples and a good understanding of garment construction and pattern cutting
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisation and time management skills
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and Outlook with strong communication skills
- Proactive, calm under pressure and keen to learn within a close-knit team environment
