ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

OTE: £42,000 – £48,500 per annum

Zest Leisure Group is a privately owned company and one of the most successful franchise groups within the Anytime Fitness UK & Ireland network. Our journey began in 2015 with the opening of our first club in Tooting. Since then, we have expanded across London with clubs in Ladbroke Grove, Balham, Swiss Cottage, Wimbledon, and most recently Clapham Junction.

We take great pride in delivering a high-quality environment and member experience, while creating a workplace where our people can thrive and develop. With exciting future expansion plans, there has never been a better time to join our growing business.

We are now looking for an ambitious, energetic, and service-driven Assistant General Manager to join our team.

The Role

As Assistant General Manager, you will support the ongoing success of the club through exceptional customer service, operational excellence, strong sales performance, and effective team leadership.

You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for members while supporting the day-to-day operations and commercial performance of the club.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
