Assistant General Manager
Central London | £45,000 to £49,000 package

We are working with a well-known European restaurant group to appoint an Assistant General Manager for one of their Central London restaurants. This is a great opportunity for an experienced AGM to join a recognised group with a strong reputation for food, service, and people development.

The Role

Working closely with the General Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the restaurant.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing the FOH team
  • Supporting the GM with the overall operation
  • Delivering consistently high standards of service
  • Managing busy, high-volume services
  • Supporting training and team development
  • Monitoring key commercial and operational targets
  • Maintaining strong guest relationships
  • Taking responsibility for the restaurant in the GM's absence

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
