Your Role
We are looking for an exceptional Assistant General Manager to join our Front of House leadership team at Duck & Waffle.
As a key member of the management team, you will play an integral role in delivering outstanding guest experiences while supporting the overall operation of the restaurant, bar, and lounge. Service excellence is always at the heart of what we do, so we're looking for someone who is naturally welcoming, energetic, and passionate about hospitality.

Your Responsibilities
As Assistant General Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, and lounge, ensuring exceptional service standards, operational excellence, and commercial success.
You will work closely with the senior leadership team to drive sales growth, achieve financial targets, develop team members, and maintain the highest standards across all aspects of the business. Building strong relationships with guests, employees, and suppliers will be key to your success in this role.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who bring:
- A minimum of 7 years' hospitality experience, including at least 4 years in a management role
- A Personal Licence
- Experience working within a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environment
- A proven ability to lead, coach, develop, and motivate teams
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen
- A solid understanding of employment law, licensing regulations, health & safety, and fire safety requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of company policies and a commitment to ensuring team compliance
- Relevant certifications, including Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness qualifications
- A flexible, hands-on approach and willingness to support the wider business as required
