Are you an experienced Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager or Asset Manager with a background in LIFT, PFI or PPP projects? We’re recruiting for an Assistant General Manager to support the management of 18 NHS healthcare properties across London.

Based in Mayfair, this senior operational role will combine contract management, stakeholder engagement, team leadership and Board-level reporting within a specialist infrastructure and asset management organisation.

The Role

As The Assistant General Manager, You Will

  • Support the overall performance of multiple LIFTCos and their subsidiaries.
  • Lead and develop a team of Operations Managers and an Asset Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with Management Services Agreements, Project Agreements and lending documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with Boards, investors, tenants, FM providers and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Monitor Hard FM performance, contractual compliance, lifecycle delivery and financial performance.
  • Prepare quarterly Board reports, approval papers and business plans.
  • Manage risks, claims, disputes, defects and tenant variation requests.
  • Drive service improvements across a portfolio of 18 NHS healthcare buildings.

About You

To be successful as the Assistant General Manager, you’ll have:

  • At least five years’ experience in LIFT, PFI, PPP, SPV management or Hard FM services.
  • Strong knowledge of contractual rights, obligations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders at Board, investor and operational level.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
  • Strong report writing, presentation and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
