Assistant Manager – £35,000 per annum

West Dunbartonshire | 40 hours per week

Brace Advisory is currently recruiting on behalf of an independent, busy bar and restaurant in West Dunbartonshire, and we're looking for an experienced Assistant Manager or Duty Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career.

This is a small but busy venue with a really strong community feel and a diverse customer base. With regular entertainment, a strong food offering and a loyal following, there is always something happening.

The venue already has a settled and experienced team, so this isn't about coming in and starting from scratch. We're looking for someone who can support the existing team, help maintain the standards of the venue and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business.

We're particularly interested in someone who has a genuine interest in social media and understands how important it is for a modern hospitality business. You'll ideally be someone who keeps up with current trends, understands what gets people talking and isn't afraid to bring new ideas to the table.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
