Role Overview
At ETM Group, being an Assistant General Manager is a key leadership role and a vital step in your progression within premium hospitality. You are instrumental in delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting the General Manager in driving performance, and leading from the front to inspire and develop your team.
Across our two distinct business areas - ETM Collection and ETM Sport London - our Assistant General Managers play a pivotal role in bringing each venue to life. Whether supporting refined rooftop dining within the Collection or delivering high-energy, high-volume service in our Sport London venues, you help shape the culture, standards, and energy of the business every day.
Working closely with your General Manager, you will take ownership of key areas of the operation, ensuring consistency, commercial awareness, and an unwavering focus on guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be visible on the floor, driving standards, coaching your team, and contributing to the overall success of the venue.

The Ideal Candidate Will Present
- Proven Experience: You have experience in a senior supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, ideally in a high-quality and fast-paced environment.
- Leadership Potential: You are a confident and approachable leader, passionate about developing and motivating your team.
- Commercial Awareness: You understand the fundamentals of hospitality financials and support in managing costs, driving revenue, and delivering results.
- Guest-centred Approach: You lead by example, consistently delivering exceptional service with attention to detail.
- Resilience & Agility: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are confident in handling challenges as they arise.
- Passion for Food & Drink: You have a strong interest in modern British cuisine and evolving beverage trends.
- Hands-On Leadership: You are present on the floor, supporting your team and setting the standard in service and operations.
- Sports Awareness: You have an understanding of key sporting events and can support in creating engaging match-day experiences for guests and share their passion for sport.
