GAUCHO is looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant General Manager for our GAUCHO Newcastle team! The successful candidate will be an experienced Assistant General Manager, being fully accountable for guest experience, finance, sales growth, legal compliance, and team development, both FOH and BOH. The Assistant General Managers take charge of the controllable of the P&L as delegated and work alongside the General Manager to consistently deliver the budget and receive great guest feedback.

Key Responsibilities of the GAUCHO Assistant General Manager
- Work with the General Manager to execute the restaurant plan in place to beat the budget, driving top line sales
- Oversee team objectives and engaging development plans, whilst executing the succession plan
- Drives GAUCHO culture, inspires, guides and educates all hourly team members
- Ensures a fully trained team regarding compliance and is personally fully trained, achieving above 95% on shield and food audits
- Supports the General Manager with bespoke local initiatives and local advertising
- Enforces brand standards in regards to strong and consistent guest feedback and mystery diner results

Requirements for GAUCHO Assistant General Manager
- Excellent communicator and inspirational leader
- Proven record of managing restaurant finance and P&L
- An in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry
- WSET Level 2 desirable
