About the Role

We’re seeking Assistant Geotechnical Engineers or Assistant Engineering Geologists to join our team in Bristol, UK.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Producing professional and technically sound reports, while engaging effectively with both specialists and clients.
  • Developing ground models and design parameters.
  • Conducting slopes, walls, foundation, and geotechnical structure assessments, along with geological hazard evaluations.
  • Providing project delivery support, encompassing client liaison and seamless coordination across other disciplines.
  • Advancing sustainability efforts and enhancing 3D data utilisation in our projects.
  • Undertaking fieldwork supervision, leading ground investigations and construction for some of the UK’s most transformative infrastructure projects across diverse sectors.
  • Embedding our newly developed training framework, fueling your growth alongside peers across all career grades. We encourage a culture of continuous learning and knowledge-sharing.

Key Requirements

To excel in this role, we’ll be looking for candidates to demonstrate:

  • A strong understanding of ground risk assessment and site investigation fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in basic soil mechanics and key engineering principles.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of crafting high-quality reports and design outputs.
  • Clear aspirations to advance towards chartered status.
