Assistant Golf Professional – Beaverbrook Golf Club, Surrey

Overall compensation in the region of 40,000 to a proactive individual
(Salary £27,760 plus OTE £12,000 commission)

Beaverbrook is a carefully curated collection of a private Member’s 18 hole golf course, world class practice facilities & two luxury hotels; our estate surrounded by the Surrey hills and our urban Town House in central London. The golf course, designed by Tom Watson & David McLay Kidd, features USGA specification, bent grass greens, and spans across the undulating, natural landscape of the estate, providing our golfers with unrivalled views across Surrey & immaculate playing surfaces. The Beaverbrook ethos binds our facilities together – warmth and thoughtfulness that makes every Member, guest and employee journey unforgettable, reflecting our approach to unrivalled service & hospitality.

Beaverbrook Golf Club is looking to add a dedicated Assistant Golf Professional to our Golf Operations team, providing only the finest service to our Members & their accompanied guests.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Enhancing the Member & guest experience, by providing outstanding customer service
  • Assisting with the outside operation (valet parking, bag drop & practice facility)
  • Assisting with the retail operation
  • Providing group lessons, private golf lessons & custom fitting sessions to our Members
  • Assisting with competitions and events
  • Playing golf with Members
  • Carrying out club repairs, as required

Who you are:

  • A talented PGA member (ideally fully PGA qualified, or in your final year of training)
  • An ambitious individual, looking to progress and learn in a fast paced, demanding environment
  • A self starter, with high personal standards, committed to ongoing personal development
  • Immaculately groomed and confident in dealing with people at all levels of life
  • Previous experience at a private Member’s club is favourable, but not essential

Shift Pattern

40 hours per week - the ideal candidate will be flexible in working any 5 days out of 7.
