We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our golf course greens team as a Qualified Greenkeeper.

This is an excellent opportunity to become a key part of a small team of enthusiastic greenkeepers, maintaining both the golf course and the machinery essential to its presentation and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and preparation of the golf course to a high standard.
  • Assist with daily course maintenance tasks as required such as switching and brushing, mowing banks, rough and semi-rough, surrounds and approaches, tees, greens and fairways.
  • Scarifying/verticutting turf, aerating and irrigating turf, applying nutrition and top dressing.
  • Changing holes and driving a tractor with implements.

The Ideal Candidate

It is imperative that you understand the importance of good time-keeping and punctuality within the role.

Essential

  • Experience working as a Greenkeeper
  • Good understanding of golf course maintenance
  • Having a strong work ethic, firm desire to learn, being a flexible well-motivated team player
  • NVQ Level 2 or above in sports turf care
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Due to location and shift start times own transport is essential.

Salary: negotiable depending on experience. Starting Salary From £27,500 plus weekend overtime.
