Assistant Grounds Maintenance Contracts Managers Required in Bromsgrove
Assistant Grounds Maintenance Contracts Managers are required in the Bromsgrove area by one of the UK's leading Horticulture and Grounds Maintenance Specialists.
Role Overview
The role is to assist the contracts manager with all associated tasks and you will be required to travel as and when needed within the region.
Relevant Qualification and Training
(Ideally you will have one or more of the qualifications listed below, or other relevant qualification, dependent upon site or contract)
- BSc in Horticulture
- City and Guilds/NVQ Amenity Horticulture Stage I and II
- City and Guilds/NVQ Amenity Horticulture Management Phase III and IV
- HND Amenity Horticulture
- HND Landscape Management
- I.O.G. Diploma in Turf Culture
- Diploma in Management Studies
- IOSH, ROLO or other Health and Safety Qualification

Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 4 years experience of Corporate and/or Local Authority Grounds Maintenance.
- Minimum of 1 year's experience of people supervision or management.
- Practical use of ride on mowers, hedge trimmers, strimmers, scarifiers, tractor driving, and chemical use.
- Excellent plant and pest knowledge.
- A demonstrable ability to establish and sustain good working relationships within a team environment or the ability and initiative to work alone.
- Holds a valid driving licence preferably with legal and practical ability to use a trailer.
- Good computer skills.

Compensation
A driver's license is essential and the salary is 32k + package and benefits.
