Assistant Gymnastics Development Officer
Salford Community Leisure is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Gymnastics Development Officer to join the team for 12 hours per week. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery, development and promotion of a high-quality recreational gymnastics programme across a variety of community venues. Working alongside the Gymnastics Development Officer, you will help deliver engaging sessions for participants of all ages and abilities, support the implementation of British Gymnastics' RISE programme, assist with events and competitions, and contribute to the continued growth of gymnastics across Salford. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about developing gymnasts, committed to excellent customer service, and able to inspire participants to achieve their potential.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
- A minimum British Gymnastics Level 1 Coaching Qualification, a British Gymnastics Gymnastics Activity Instructor (GAI) qualification, or the ability and commitment to achieve the GAI qualification within 6 months of appointment.
- Experience delivering gymnastics sessions to children and young people across a range of ages and abilities.
- Knowledge of recreational gymnastics and a passion for developing participation and progression opportunities.
- Ability to identify and support talented gymnasts to progress into more advanced sessions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with participants, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong customer care skills and the ability to respond to enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Good organisational and administrative skills, including maintaining records and managing email communications.
- Experience or confidence in supporting the promotion of activities through websites and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently using your own initiative, while also contributing positively as part of a team.
- Strong motivational skills and the ability to create positive, inclusive, and enjoyable environments.
- Flexibility to work regular evenings and weekends in line with programme requirements.
- A commitment to consistently demonstrate Salford Community Leisure's values and behaviours.

DBS Check
Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently it is £49.50. The payment will be taken back over two payments directly from the first two months salary payments. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment.
