Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Assistant Head Concierge to join our passionate Concierge team. As Assistant Head Concierge, you will work alongside the Head Concierge to ensure the smooth operation of the department while creating memorable moments for our guests. From arranging exclusive dining experiences and transportation to coordinating bespoke requests and supporting VIP arrivals, no two days will be the same.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver exceptional concierge services and personalised recommendations for guests.
  • Arrange restaurant reservations, theatre tickets, transportation, tours, and travel bookings.
  • Coordinate airport meet-and-greet services and other bespoke guest experiences.
  • Oversee the safe handling, storage, and dispatch of guest luggage.
  • Manage guest correspondence, messages, mail, and key services.
  • Support the supervision and development of the Concierge team.
  • Assist with rota planning and departmental scheduling.
  • Develop and deliver training initiatives to maintain luxury service standards.
  • Maintain awareness of hotel events, functions, and VIP arrivals.
  • Ensure compliance with LQA, Sofitel and Accor brand standards and procedures.
  • Assist with valet and vehicle parking services when required.

Qualifications

  • Previous Concierge experience within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience within Front Office or Concierge operations.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of London's restaurants, attractions, entertainment, and transport networks.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A warm, professional, and proactive approach aligned with Sofitel's luxury service culture.
