Job Description

Position Overview

The Asst Head Infrastructure Future Programmes Lead is responsible for ensuring alignment of the end client's Strategic Objectives with Infrastructure Plans and wider delivery programmes, acting as the Intelligent Customer for current and future infrastructure requirements. They will liaise closely with stakeholders and compliance teams to align capability needs with operational priorities and asset conditions. Additionally, the role serves as the primary interface between future programme teams and the main client, supporting master planning and base optimisation strategies.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Support the alignment of the Client's Strategic Objectives, ensuring key outputs are delivered through the integration of Infrastructure Plans and wider programme activities.
  • Act as the Intelligent Customer for infrastructure programme requirements, ensuring solutions meet operational and strategic needs.
  • Engage with Client stakeholders to understand capability requirements and ensure alignment with current operational priorities and long-term strategic objectives.
  • Serve as the Intelligent Customer for future programme master planning, base optimisation strategies, and the development of supporting delivery plans.
  • Act as the primary interface between future programme teams and the Client, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Liaise with Client compliance teams to understand asset condition, compliance requirements, and future infrastructure needs.
  • Provide support across additional Client Areas of Responsibility as directed by the management chain.
  • Deliver regular progress updates, risks, and key developments to the management chain, ensuring stakeholders remain informed.

Qualifications

Skills / experience required for this role:

  • MS O365 proficient.
  • Project Management experience
  • Excelled stakeholder management and engagement at all levels.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Organised with ability to work on own initiative.
  • Experience of working in a nuclear regulated environment.
