About This Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional and ambitious Assistant Headteacher – Achievement (Progress & Outcomes) to join our Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in sustaining and further improving the exceptional outcomes achieved by our pupils. The successful candidate must be a Teacher of Mathematics and will join one of the highest-performing secondary schools in the area.
As Assistant Headteacher for Achievement you will provide strategic leadership of student achievement across the Academy. You will ensure that we have the highest expectations for every student, that leaders at all levels understand the performance of their areas, and that assessment and achievement information is used intelligently to identify priorities and secure excellent outcomes. Working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will provide both support and challenge to ensure that no student or cohort is left behind.
Alongside your whole-school leadership responsibilities, you will be an excellent Teacher of Mathematics who models the very highest standards of classroom practice. You will work closely with our established Mathematics leadership team and contribute to the continued success of an already thriving subject area.
