We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant People Business Partner (APBP) to join our People Partnering Team and work alongside leaders and managers across a nominated Care Group and/or Directorate.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your HR expertise to influence, coach and support managers, while helping shape a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace.
What you’ll do:
You’ll provide trusted, expert HR advice across a wide range of people matters, helping managers find practical solutions and build their confidence and capability.

You’ll also:
- Support workforce planning, transformation and organisational change.
- Experienced in TUPE transfer
- Coach managers on performance, attendance, recruitment and HR policies.
- Use workforce data and staff feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Champion Just Culture, equality, diversity, inclusion and staff engagement.
- Deliver engaging HR training to managers and leaders.
- Work closely with Employee Relations colleagues on complex cases and formal processes.
- Support the delivery of the Trust’s people strategy and key workforce priorities.
- Deputise for the People Business Partner when required.

What we’re looking for
You’ll be an experienced HR professional with a strong understanding of employment legislation, HR policy and best practice. You’ll be confident advising and coaching managers, handling complex issues and building trusted relationships at all levels. You will be qualified at a minimum of a CIPD Level 5.
