Hawksmoor Investment Management is a specialist investment management business providing high-quality discretionary management services for private clients, including trusts, pension schemes, and charities. With offices in Exeter, London, Taunton, Bath, Harrogate, Salisbury, and Worcester, Hawksmoor offers a strong regional presence and collaborative working environment.

Role Description

This full-time Assistant Investment Manager role is based on-site in London. The role involves supporting the investment manager team in the construction, monitoring, and review of client portfolios. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with client presentations and meetings
  • Responding to client queries
  • Ensuring documentation and records are accurate and compliant
  • Collaborating with colleagues in other departments
  • Staying informed about market developments, regulatory changes, and economic conditions that may impact client investments

Requirements

  • Interest in investment management and investments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to internal and external stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and proactivity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a regulated environment
  • Proficiency with Excel and strong IT skills more generally
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team, uphold ethical standards, and maintain client confidentiality
  • Ambition to qualify as an Investment manager via the CISI route
