The opportunity:

To join an award winning, integrated multidisciplinary consulting engineering practice, based out of the London office, on a hybrid basis, maintaining and developing a broad suite of IT systems. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will work to resolve the root cause of any issues arising, help to maintain all IT systems within the company and work proactively to keep systems running as efficiently and securely as possible. You will be part of a three-person IT team, delivering IT for a national team of 150 people, working out of four principal offices.

Day to day tasks and responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain IT systems, networks, servers and software
  • Install, configure and upgrade hardware and applications
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the business
  • Assist with IT security, compliance and vulnerability management
  • Provide user support, training and best practice guidance
  • Work with third-party suppliers and support infrastructure improvement projects
