Role Description
The assistant kitchen installer will support the lead installers with day-to-day kitchen fitting tasks in a full-time, on-site role based in the City of London.

- Helping with the installation of cabinets, worktops, appliances, and shelving
- Preparing materials, measuring and marking out
- Assisting with adjustments and finishing details
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Handling tools and equipment under guidance
- Loading and unloading materials at project sites
- Supporting quality checks
- Following installation plans and drawings
- Communicating clearly with the team to ensure work is completed on schedule
- Occasional travel to sites across London and nearby areas

Qualifications
- Practical skills in basic carpentry or joinery, with the ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and accurately
- Experience or strong interest in kitchen fitting, construction, or a related trade, with willingness to learn and follow technical instructions
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills to assist with precise measurements, adjustments, and finishing work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to take direction, ask clarifying questions, and work professionally on client sites
- Good physical fitness and stamina, including the ability to lift and move kitchen components and work on your feet for extended periods
- Reliability and punctuality, with a flexible approach to working hours based on site requirements and project schedules
- Basic understanding of site health and safety practices; formal health and safety training or CSCS card is an advantage
- Full UK driving licence is beneficial for travel to various installation sites
- Previous experience in a trade assistant, labourer, or installation support role is an asset but not essential for motivated candidates
