Job Title: Assistant Letting Manager
Location: West Drayton
Base Salary: £28,500
OTE: £50,000
Hours: Monday - Friday 08.45 - 18:00, Saturday 09.30 - 16.30, working alternate Saturdays.

We're looking for an ambitious and experienced Assistant Lettings Manager to join our West Drayton office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a successful Senior Lettings Negotiator or Assistant Manager looking to take the next step in their career. Working closely with the Lettings Manager, you'll play a key role in driving new business, supporting and developing the team, and delivering an exceptional service to landlords and tenants.

You'll be a confident communicator with a strong understanding of the local lettings market, a passion for winning instructions and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting market appraisals and winning new lettings and property management instructions.
  • Building strong relationships with landlords, applicants and prospective clients.
  • Identifying opportunities to win business from competing agents.
  • Supporting and motivating the lettings team to achieve individual and branch targets.
  • Leading morning meetings and taking responsibility for the office when required.
  • Monitoring team activity, including viewings, offers, applicant registrations and business generation.
  • Matching applicants to available properties and conducting viewings.
  • Negotiating offers between landlords and tenants.
  • Providing landlords with regular updates on marketing activity, viewings and offers.
  • Progressing agreed lets through referencing, compliance and tenancy progression.
  • Maintaining accurate records across company systems.
  • Supporting the induction, coaching and development of team members.
  • Ensuring the branch operates professionally and in line with company procedures and lettings legislation, including Right to Rent requirements.

Experience:

  • Previous experience within residential lettings.
  • A proven track record of conducting market appraisals and winning new business.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience supporting or mentoring a lettings team.
  • A proactive, target-driven approach.
  • Good knowledge of the local rental market and current lettings legislation.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment.
  • A professional, positive and customer-focused attitude.
  • A full UK driving licence.
