Location: West Drayton
Base Salary: £28,500
OTE: £50,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 18:00 | Saturday, 09:30 - 16:30 (alternate Saturdays)
We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced Assistant Lettings Manager to join our West Drayton office.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Lettings Negotiator or Assistant Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career. Working closely with the Lettings Manager, you’ll play a key role in winning new business, supporting the team and delivering an excellent service to landlords and tenants.
You’ll be a confident communicator with a strong understanding of the local lettings market, a proven ability to win instructions and the drive to lead by example in a busy, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market appraisals and win new lettings and property management instructions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, applicants and prospective clients.
- Identify opportunities to win new business from competing agents.
- Support, motivate and develop the lettings team to achieve individual and branch targets.
- Lead morning meetings and take responsibility for the office when required.
- Monitor team activity, including viewings, offers, applicant registrations and new business.
- Match applicants to suitable properties and conduct viewings.
- Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants.
- Keep landlords updated throughout the marketing and lettings process.
- Progress agreed lets through referencing, compliance and tenancy progression.
- Maintain accurate records across company systems.
- Support the induction, coaching and development of team members.
- Ensure the branch operates professionally and in accordance with company procedures and current lettings legislation, including Right to Rent requirements.

- Previous experience within residential lettings.
- Proven experience conducting market appraisals and winning new business.
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience supporting, mentoring or leading a lettings team.
- A proactive, target-driven and commercially minded approach.
- Good knowledge of the local rental market and current lettings legislation.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workloads in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, positive and customer-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
Own car is essential for the role.
