Assistant Management Accountant (ACCA/CIMA qualified or studying) – 12-15 Month Maternity Cover
Start date: End of September 2026/Early October 2026 subject to notice period (flexible)
Location: Head Office, Bigby Road, Brigg, North Lincolnshire, DN20 8RA
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm (flexible)
Contract: 12-15 Month Maternity Cover with review in June/July 2027
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience

About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our team on a 12-15 month maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is studying towards ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent professional qualification, or who has recently qualified, and is looking to develop their experience within a supportive environment. Working closely with the wider accounts team, you'll gain exposure to a variety of tasks while helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Producing monthly management accounts for the directors
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Maintaining accurate accounting records
- Completing a monthly stock count
- Assisting with payroll and expense processing where required
- Preparing reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
- Providing administrative support to the accounts department
- Supporting the Company Accountant with ad-hoc projects and duties
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Is qualified or studying towards ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent accounting qualification as a preference
- Has previous experience in an accounts or finance role
- Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Is organised and able to prioritise workloads effectively
- Has strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Is a good communicator and enjoys working as part of a team
