Assistant Management Accountant Nottingham Hybrid Role Competitive salary + bonus + enhanced benefits
Eaton Syalon are working with our Nottingham based client to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant into their Finance team. This opportunity will see the successful candidate given all the tools to develop their finance career long-term.
Responsibilities:
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Producing margin and performance reports for internal stakeholders
- Journals including accruals and prepayments
- Supporting preparation of monthly management accounts
- Liaison with operations, resolving queries and building productive working relationships
- Running profit & loss reports and analysing performance
- Analysis of high volumes of data
- Partnering with Payroll, Purchase Ledger and Credit Control functions

About You:
We’re looking for someone hungry to build a career in finance. You might be in an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant role and ready for that next step into an Assistant Management Accountant role. You may be an AAT studier or AAT qualified candidate or someone who is in the early/mid stages of CIMA / ACCA / ACA, and keen to continue studying while gaining valuable experience to support your studies and development.

You will have well developed IT skills including confidence using Excel. Interpersonally you will enjoy building solid working relationships with your team and the wider business and you won't be afraid to ask for support if you need it.
