We have an exciting opportunity for a part qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance Team at The London Clinic.
This is an assistant level position for someone who already has practical finance experience and is currently working towards a recognised accountancy qualification. You will support the Management Accounting team with reporting, month end processes, budgeting and forecasting while gradually taking greater ownership as your experience grows.

A little about the role
You will work closely with the Management Accounting team, supporting the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, budgets and forecasts. Your work will help managers understand their financial position and make well-informed decisions. You will have regular contact with colleagues across our clinical and corporate services, giving you a good understanding of how different areas of the hospital operate.
Alongside your regular reporting responsibilities, you will have opportunities to investigate financial information, contribute ideas and help improve the way we work. What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Assisting with month end and year end processes, including journal preparation and account reconciliations.
- Analysing financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities to improve financial performance.
- Supporting budget holders and senior managers by providing accurate financial information and analysis.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation.
- Investigating financial variances and supporting the implementation of corrective actions where required.
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting, controls and efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations and internal policies.

What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be part qualified in ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent recognised accountancy qualification and have previous experience working within a finance team. You will have a good understanding of core accounting processes and some practical experience of month end activities, journals, reconciliations or financial reporting.
You will be looking to build on your existing finance experience and move into an Assistant Management Accountant role, where you can develop broader management accounting knowledge and take greater ownership of your work.
You will be organised, accurate and confident working with financial information. You will also be comfortable building relationships across the organisation and explaining financial information clearly to colleagues who may not have a finance background.

You will join a knowledgeable and approachable Finance Team that plays an important role across The London Clinic. The team works closely with clinical and operational colleagues, helping them manage their resources effectively and continue delivering outstanding patient care.
