Key responsibilities
- Month-end close, prepayments, accruals, and journals
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
- Balance Sheet and P&L reviews, bank, and GL reconciliations
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- VAT returns and tax reporting
- Supporting year-end accounts, financial statements, and external audit
- Driving improvements to finance processes and controls
What we're looking for
- AAT qualified or studying, or degree qualified in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
- Confident Excel skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
