Assistant Management Accountant
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced ‘start-up’ environment, working closely with experienced professionals across a range of core finance functions.
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) + study support

What you'll be doing as an Assistant Management Accountant:
- Support the month end close process, preparing balance sheet reconciliations and posting journals to help the finance team meet its deadlines
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including supplier invoices and payments, chasing outstanding invoices and customer receipts, and reconciling supplier invoices against F&B delivery notes
- Assist with year end audit preparation, collating supporting documentation and responding to auditor queries
- Contribute to the roll out of new systems, including EPOS, labour management, and purchasing, as well as new AI tools within the finance function
- Support the payroll process, including recording advances and deductions and assisting with payroll reviews
About you, our new Assistant Management Accountant:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or multi-site business is desirable.
- Working knowledge of Xero is desirable.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, professional demeanour.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- A passion for hospitality industry and commitment to delivering a high standard of work.
