Job Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance department, with a key focus on supporting our UK operations and Restaurants.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain monthly management accounts, focusing on UK owned sites.
- Support the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company records.
- Perform credit card reconciliations, ensuring appropriate documentation and categorisation of expenses.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end reporting packs.
- Support in the preparation and production of annual budgets.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of information for the external audit, including responding to auditor queries.
- Collaborate with the broader finance team to enhance reporting, controls, and processes.
- Support with ad-hoc reporting requests when required.
About You
- Previous experience working in a similar finance function is a must.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality through to completion.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify issues and develop practical solutions.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and perform well under pressure.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Organised, self-motivated, and forward-thinking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident working with stakeholders across all departments and restaurant teams.
- Experience using Sage Intacct.
- Newly qualified or working towards a professional accountancy qualification.
- Previous experience in international multi-site, multi-entity hospitality or retail group.
