Assistant Management Accountant – Pinner (office based)
Up to £42,000 p.a.

About the Role
Working closely with the Financial Controller and CFO, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations, accurate reconciliations and assisting with the preparation of management accounts.

The role will suit someone with strong reporting experience, who has an eye for detail and who is meticulous in their approach. You will need to show initiative and be comfortable working autonomously, and will be someone who is keen to identify process and systems improvements.
You will have oversight of the balance sheet and reconciliations for the companies within the group; be responsible for overseeing all transactional processes and accurate ledger reporting; support with the preparation of management accounts and variance analysis; and month end close. You will also support with VAT returns and Year End processes. Strong IT skills and excel are essential and you will take a lead of software projects.

- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Part-qualified or studying toward a professional accounting qualification desirable but will also consider qualified by experience.
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
