The Role
Trostan Dene are supporting a growing service provider in Horwich in finding an Assistant Management Accountant to support the finance team in delivering accurate reporting and valuable commercial insights across their network of locations.
The Assistant Management Accountant will support the preparation of monthly management accounts and provide financial analysis across the business. Reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with the Management Accountant, this is an excellent opportunity for a progressive Assistant Management Accountant looking to gain broad commercial experience within a growing business. Progression plan to full Management Accountant within 9-12 months.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of management accounts for all sites within the group, including P&L and balance sheets
- Preparation of monthly MI packs for multiple business areas
- Balance sheet reconciliations (inc. A&P, fixed assets and intercompany)
- Managing sales ledger and raising invoices
- Oversee AP process (approvals and payment runs etc.)
- Process and pay expenses monthly
- Assist with the preparation of year end accounts and audit
- Ad-hoc projects to assist Head of Finance to make commercial/strategic decisions

What We’re Looking For
- Studying towards or completed AAT as a minimum.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in preparing management accounts for multiple sites/entities
Package & Benefits
- Salary: £32,000-£36,000
- Hybrid working (2 days from home)
- Flexible working model – 40 hours flexible between 7am – 5.30pm
