This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office (City of London location) and 2 days working from home.

Role Purpose
Support the delivery of timely and accurate financial control, management reporting, statutory reporting and audit activities, helping ensure the Bank maintains a robust and well-controlled finance function.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post monthly general ledger journals
  • Lead the preparation of Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Own suspense account management, resolving queries
  • Support the monthly management accounts
  • Support Divisional reporting
  • Assist with monthly revenue recognition
  • Assist with EIR adjustment
  • Process automation
  • Technology adoption
  • Efficiency initiatives

Skills and Experience sought:

  • The role would suit a Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA student, or recently qualified accountant
  • Experience of month-end accounting
  • Exposure to financial services or regulated environments is desirable
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • To be organised and methodical
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management
  • Organisation and time management skill
