Assistant Management Accountant | Permanent | Kent | Hybrid Working
The Opportunity
We’re working with a growing and well-established Kent based organisation to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive finance team, gaining exposure to month-end processes and management reporting.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the production of accurate and timely financial information, while assisting with the day-to-day running of the finance function.

- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support accruals, prepayments, and journal postings
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyse financial data and provide insight to support decision-making
- Support the year-end audit process
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role (Assistant Management Accountant / Finance Assistant)
- Studying towards ACCA / CIMA or AAT qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
- Good understanding of month-end processes
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proactive, organised, and eager to learn
