Assistant Management Accountant
We are recruiting for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation in Leeds on an initial 3-month temporary contract.
This is a varied role supporting the production of management accounts, month-end processes, financial reporting and stakeholder management across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Posting accruals, prepayments and journals
- Budget monitoring and variance analysis
- Managing invoicing and recharges
- Supporting audit requirements and maintaining financial controls
- Providing financial advice and support to stakeholders
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Building strong working relationships across finance and the wider organisation

About You
- AAT qualified, part-qualified CIMA/ACCA, or qualified by experience
- Previous experience in an Assistant Management Accountant or similar role
- Strong month-end and management accounts experience
- Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- SAP experience would be advantageous
