Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking an Assistant Management Accountant EMEA

to join our team in London, UK.

We’re looking for a detail-driven, proactive accounting professional to join our EMEA Finance team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy owning processes, and want to make a real impact on financial reporting and controls—this could be your next move.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Owning key parts of the month-end and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations and financial statement reviews.
  • Ensuring accurate accounting treatment in line with GAAP across multiple regional entities.
  • Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting robust financial reporting.
  • Supporting Accounts Payable activities, including invoice reviews, expense checks and payment runs.
  • Preparing VAT returns and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Playing a key role in audit cycles, preparing schedules and supporting audit requests.
  • Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial statements.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across finance operations.
  • Supporting projects and initiatives, including internal controls and technical accounting research.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong experience in month-end close, reconciliations and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable processes.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel skills, with working knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion (HFM) preferred.
  • Confident communicator, able to work with internal and external stakeholders.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Studying towards or qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • 3–4 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Experience in financial reporting, audits and statutory accounts.
  • Additional European languages are a plus, but not essential.
