Assistant Management Accountant | £35,000 | Hybrid

Camino Partners are working with a specialist professional services business operating within the technology and consulting space, supporting clients with highly skilled technical professionals across complex projects.

They are looking to hire an Assistant Management Accountant into a growing finance function. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who wants to broaden their experience beyond transactional finance and develop towards a Management Accountant position.

The role will include:

  • Supporting the preparation of management accounts
  • Ownership of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Supporting month-end processes and reconciliations
  • Assisting with reporting and wider finance requirements
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
  • Getting involved with finance systems and technology improvements

What they're looking for:

  • Some previous finance/accounting experience
  • Ideally studying towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, although this isn't essential
  • Someone keen to progress into a Management Accountant position
  • Strong Excel skills and an interest in technology/systems
  • A proactive mindset with the confidence to suggest improvements
  • Industry experience is advantageous, but recruitment experience is not essential
