About The Role
With support from the Senior Management Accountant this role will take control of the management accounts for 2 Ltd companies up to consolidation which includes the reconciliation of banks, balance sheet codes including accruals & prepayments, posting of revenue journals and the supporting financial reporting. The role also entails the time management and development of a finance apprentice.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the successful Assistant Management Accountant (Greyhounds) include (but not limited to):
- Reconcile raceday revenue (liaising with site General/Duty managers where applicable), posting meeting return journals on a weekly basis to Netsuite (accounting software).
- Support monthly management account reviews with site General managers.
- Using meeting return data, compile and submit the weekly flash report (raceday forecast) to senior management.
- Review payroll file from central payroll department & process subsequent payroll journals.
- Prepare, raise and follow up on invoices to sponsors & Industry partners.
- Perform bank, cash & intercompany reconciliations
- Assist cashflow reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities.
