An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation in Glasgow on an initial 12-month maternity cover.
Working within a small finance team, you'll take ownership of a varied role covering month-end, management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management accounts and commentary
- Taking ownership of month-end and balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow forecasting
- Maintaining accurate financial ledgers
- Supporting year-end and audit processes
- Providing financial analysis and wider ad-hoc support to the Finance Director

About You
We're open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including:
- Part-qualified or newly qualified accountants
- Assistant Management Accountants
- Experienced Senior Accounts Assistants looking to step up
Ideally have strong month-end experience, a solid technical accounting foundation and the confidence to take ownership of your work.
