Ready to take the next step in your accounting career?

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant with around 1-2 years’ experience who is ready to take on more responsibility, build their technical skills and become a key member of a sociable, supportive Finance team. You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of clients and gain hands-on exposure to the full accounting cycle, making this an ideal role for someone who wants to develop quickly and build a strong foundation for a long-term career in finance.

You’ll get genuine ownership from day one, covering AP and AR, bank reconciliations, VAT, cashflow forecasting and month-end processes, alongside P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and management reporting. You’ll also have the chance to gain experience across areas including foreign currency and digital asset transactions, fixed assets, payroll, budgeting, reforecasting and year-end audit work. There’s plenty of variety, plenty to learn and plenty of opportunity to make your mark.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
