Assistant Bakery Manager

Location: On-site | Central London

Salary: £34,000-£36,000 + tips + bonus

Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

Ready for your next step in bakery management?

We're looking for an ambitious Assistant Bakery Manager to join one of London's most exciting bakery and retail concepts.

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager, Senior Supervisor, or Shift Manager who's looking to join a business that genuinely invests in training, development, and internal progression. If you're passionate about hospitality, enjoy leading people, and want to build a long-term career with a fast-growing bakery brand, we'd love to hear from you.

Working alongside experienced leaders, you'll receive the training, support, and development needed to progress into a Bakery Manager and, ultimately, General Manager role. From leading busy services to understanding the commercial side of the business, you'll gain hands-on experience across every aspect of the operation.

No two days are the same. One minute you'll be leading the team through a busy breakfast rush, the next you'll be analyzing sales, coaching colleagues, improving standards, and helping drive the continued success of an exciting and expanding brand.

Assistant Bakery Manager - What you'll be doing

As an Assistant Bakery Manager, you'll support the day-to-day running of the bakery while developing the skills needed to become a successful Bakery Manager and future General Manager.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
