Assistant Manager - A Pub with Heart & Vision
Our Vision?
To be a living room for the community - a warm welcoming, down to earth space where people can gather and feel at home, enjoy great drinks, nostalgic food and experience genuine hospitality every time they walk through the door.
We are building a great business at the heart of Weybridge. We want to bring more energy, creativity and fun into the pub, and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of that. If you are someone that thrives on connecting with people, enjoys rolling up your sleeves, and wants to have a say in how the business evolves from marketing great ideas to local events or food/drink projects - we would love to hear from you.
About Us
The Hand and Spear is an iconic landmark with a fascinating history behind it. Located next to the train station in Weybridge we have a beautiful boutique hotel, several rooms for both dining and special events and a large bar and several areas outside both covered and uncovered. We are a British gastro pub offering fresh seasonal food, real ales, premium wines and lovely cocktails.

What we look for in an Assistant Manager:
We are looking for a motivated & experienced Assistant Manager to join and lead our team in our stylish, food focused pub. As the successful Assistant Manager you will have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service and a pro-active approach to team management. You will be enthusiastic & driven to continue the success of our pub and play a pivotal part in training our team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight our customers. You will also be someone who is committed to their career in hospitality and we can offer ongoing development to support you as you grow and succeed with us.
Skills
- Experience in Customer Service
- Passion for hospitality
